Lisa Carusone is a classically trained Pilates instructor, a level-1 certified Resistance Stretch instructor and is trained to teach TRX. She has been teaching since 2006. She offers private and semi-private lessons in Weston, MA. And, Lisa travels regularly to teach clients in the Boston/Metro West area.
Lisa’s movement education and training is ongoing. She has studied with first-generation and master instructors in Pilates, Resistance Stretch and TRX. And, she has complimented her training with continuing education in anatomy, corrective exercise, Continuum Movement and Structural Integration for the movement therapist. She currently trains with strength/conditioning coach Reggie Talbert at Innercity Weighlifting in Dorchester, MA.
Lisa is currently enrolled in Duke University’s Integrative Health Coach Professional Training Program, part of Duke’s Integrative Medicine program. She will complete her studies in July 2015. A competitive dressage rider, Lisa specializes in working with equestrians and is known for her expertise in working with dressage riders. Her clients include professional and adult amateur riders, several with international, national and regional competitive experience. A well-known clinician, she has presented programs for the United States Dressage Federation, as well as for regional and local groups and organizations. Lisa’s students describe her as an encouraging and enthusiastic instructor, serious about helping them achieve their goals and committed to their continued progress and success. She excels at distilling complex, often abstract, concepts into exercises her students can do right the first time. And, she helps her clients make a life-long commitment to their own fitness and wellness.
