It's easy to maintain your listing on Discover Waltham. We've laid out the instructions for you step by step below. By clicking on the first image, you can scroll through a slide show which will guide you through each step in the process.
1. Login to your account.
2. The Login screen will load. Click the “I Have An Account” button and enter your credentials. Click the “Log in' Button:
3. The main screen will load. Click on “My Listings”:
4. Your listings will load on the “My Listing” page.
5. Click on the title of the page you wish to edit. Note you can bypass this operation and directly access your page at any time by navigating to your page's URL.
6. Once your page loads, you will see three tabs above your content: “View”, “Edit” and “Relist” The tab highlighted in white is your current view of the page.
7. To edit a page, click the “Edit” tab.
8. The edit page will load. There will be several options from you to choose from. Each section is explained below. In the event you require more information, refer to the creating a new business/organization guide.
BASIC INFORMATION: Includes the category if your business/organization and basic information such as Name, address, phone number, fax number and website URL.
DESCRIPTION: Includes Highlights of your business/organization, tags (keywords) and a brief description.
HOURS & MAP: A business hours grid is included for each day of the week. If applicable, edit your hours in the grid. The Geo-location map coordinates are also generated in this section. By entering the proper street address, a drop down will load when the geo-locator identifies the coordinates. Highlight the drop down, click it and the map will be loaded.
SOCIAL MEDIA: Enter the full URLs to each of the social media accounts associated with your business/organization. Currently Discover Waltham includes links to Twitter, Facebook, Google +, Pinterest, Yelp, Instagram, YouTube, Bing and Flickr.
UPLOAD FILES AND IMAGES: In this section you can upload your Image Thumbnail (which appears next to your page in lists); the Photo Banner which appears at the top of your page and images for your photo gallery (instructions which follow further in this guide).
LISTING OPTIONS: Listing options allow a user to upload four different promotions or events for your business/organization. Instructions follow further in this guide
PURCHASE OPTIONS: In this section you may enable or disable notifications from the system in the event your listing is about to expire. For NGOs & Non-profits, Discover Waltham will automatically renew/re-list your page when needed at no charge to you.
9. CREATING OR ADDING PICTURES TO YOUR PHOTO GALLERY:
a. Click on the Upload Files And Images section of your edit page. The images screen will open.
d. Once your image has uploaded, a thumbnail will load and the file name will populate in the image field. Enter a description of the picture which includes your business/organization name.
e. Repeat the steps above to add more photos to your gallery. Once you have completed adding photos, click the “Save” button.
f.. You will be returned to the normal view of your page and will see the photo thumbnails in your gallery. When users click on your photos, a pop up box will load giving them a slide show complete with the description of each photo.

10. ADDING PROMOTIONS TO YOUR PAGE:
There are two ways in which you can add up to four promotions for your page. A promotion may be a special event or it may be a special sale which you would like featured. 1) You can add promotions by clicking the add link on your page under the Ongoing Promotions section (pictured below) or 2) you can click on the “Edit” tab on your page and open the “Listing Options” section.
B. Upload an image for the event. Click on the Choose File button to upload an image from your computer. Note: All images for promotions must be 600px wide by 400px high for the best display.
C. Select the file from your computer and click the open button.
D. The name of the file will appear in the field. Click the “Upload” button. The image file will now be displayed on the screen.
E. Enter date information for the promotion by clicking in the date field. A calendar will pop up. Scroll through the calendar and click on the date of the promotion/event.
F. When you click in the time field, the current time will load. Enter the starting time of the event.
G. In the case that your event has a specific end time, click the Show End Date check box. A new Date and Time field combination will load. Enter the date and time by repeating the steps previously taken.
H. If your event or promotion is occurring on different dates, click the blue “Add another item” button. A new date and time field combination will load. Repeat the steps previously described.
I. Enter a description of the event/promotion in the description box.
J. Once you have reviewed your information, click on the “Save” button.
K. Your page will now load with the promotion featured on it. You can add up to three additional promotions by clicking on the Add link. You can edit your promotion by clicking on the edit link. Once the event/promotion has been complete, you can remove it directly from your page by clicking the delete link.
11. THE RELIST TAB
The Relist Tab load the information about the page i.e., Date of Expiration as well as purchase options. If your listing is nearing expiration you can relist your page through this interface. Select your listing option and click on the green “Add to cart” button.
