Celebrate Waltham and the Charles River with the 10th Annual Waltham Riverfest! This free, fun, vibrant street festival begins Friday night (June 15) at 6:15 with music until 9 pm. The next day, Saturday June 16, it starts at 11 am (with a parade at 11:45) and lasts until 7 pm and features live music of many different genres on two stages, art activities for the whole family, a maker’s faire, food trucks, a guided walk along the Charles at 3, discounted canoe/kayak/SUP rentals, and vendors on a closed-to-traffic Moody Street from Pine Street, over the river, to the railroad tracks so festival attendees can check out vendors and non-profits set up on the bridge. People of all ages can get dressed up in animal puppets of various shapes and sizes and join in the parade and throughout the day.
