Celebrate our shared lands with a rolling cleanup along the Mass Central Rail Trail.
People all over the country this weekend are enjoying publicly-owned land with hikes, cleanups, and stewardship activities. We'll join forces with the Waltham Bicycle Advisory Committee to bring potential stewards and others on Waltham's "middle" section of the Mass Central Rail Trail. Armed with trash bags and a few hand tools, the group will depart from 140 Lexington where the rail has Demo's on one side and AutoZone on the other. We'll pick up trash and trek west past Bacon and Hammond streets to Prospect Hill Road, where we'll turn around and head back. The terrain is rugged; those not confident walking on uneven surfaces should not participate. Sorry! If you have any questions or require further information, email Sonja at Waltham Land Trust.
