Here's your opportunity to work on a property designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, father of America's public parks. Unearth a lost entrance to the carriage road leading from a servant wing at Stonehurst to the gardener's cottage. Reestablish connections between houses and fields, and expose a century-old rhododendron dell. Meet at the main entrance at 10. Please wear sunscreen, bug spray, long pants, socks, closed shoes, and bring your water bottle, gloves, and loppers! Will reschedule in the event of rain. Cosponsored with the City of Waltham and the Friends of Stonehurst. For any questions, please email Ann Clifford.
