RTN Federal Credit Union in Worcester (formerly W-G Federal Credit Union) has partnered with the Worcester Telegram & Gazette as a Gold Sponsor in a nationally recognized program aimed at increasing literacy and real-world knowledge among students.
Newspapers in Education (NIE) provides local schools with the newspaper and educational materials to enhance learning of reading, math, science, geography and other subjects, through real-life experiences relevant to the daily lives of students.
“RTN Federal Credit Union is proud to support this important educational initiative to benefit the youth in the Worcester community,” says RTN Senior Vice President of Retail Services Nicole James. RTN’s sponsorship will provide copies of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette and teaching tools to area classrooms over the next year.
