BOO! It's Halloween Weekend and the weekend before the Waltham Municipal Election! With that said, here are our recommendations:
Gore Place has been celebrating Massachusetts Archeology Month with daily "Archeology Take-A-Walk Bags" adventures for families. This landmark is one of our greatest gifts in teaching kids about our history and encouraging the possibilities moving ahead. This excursion isn't that expensive and could very well shape a child's view of his/her future. Who knows? Perhaps it's your child who could become the next great archeologist!
As we near the end of October, many things are happening in our community over the next few days! The Salvation Army Waltham Corps celebrates 120 years of service to our city with "Paint The Town Red" events all weekend!
Columbus Day Weekend is usually a time when we reap the benefits of a bountiful harvest; we take in the foliage and we prepare ourselves for the winter. It's Massachusetts Archeology Month and Gore Place has an interesting way of celebrating almost every day this month!
Well, it seems we may avoid the drama of Hurricane Joaquin at this point! So, with that in mind there are a few great events happening this week in the Watch City! Waltham Elections are a few weeks away, so if you have an opportunity, try to attend at least one of the forums we have listed on the calendar this month.
