Thanks to the generosity of RTN Federal Credit Union staff, members and those in the community, area kids are heading back to school with backpacks filled with supplies. The donations, collected at RTN’s Waltham, Tewksbury and Amesbury branches, will benefit children and youth in need at Waltham schools and those associated with the Wish Project in Lowell and Pettengill House in Salisbury. “We are committed to ensuring these kids have the basic resources to learn and succeed,” said RTN Assistant Regional Branch Manager Robin Hartnett. “On behalf of RTN, I want to thank everyone who donated to this important cause.” RTN Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial cooperative, providing members with high-quality financial products and customized service. Founded in 1945, RTN is one of the largest credit unions in Massachusetts, with $825 million in assets, 50,000 members and 19 branches. Membership is open to employees and families of more than 650 employer groups.
