RTN Federal Credit Union and RTN GoodWorks Foundation presented a check for $24,379 to the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless on Monday, September 19. The funds are proceeds raised from Walk Home 2016, which took place in June.

This year there are four ballot questions for voters to consider on Election Day.  An information session on these questions will be held at the Waltham Public Library Lecture Hall on Tuesday, October 6 at 7 PM.  The Forum is sponsored by WATCH CDC and League of Women Voters Waltham.  The four ballot questions with hyperlinks to a full explanation of each measure are as follows :

​Waltham Fields' children's education programs enable hands-on learning about natural ecosystems, crop production and the farm environment, nutrition and food choices, and group cooperation. Children participate in a range of activities such as planting vegetables, exploring the compost pile, observing wildlife, playing games, and cooking. Waltham Fields focuses heavily on Farm-to-Table programming, providing opportunities for participants to make and try healthful, farm fresh snacks in the solar kitchen of their outdoor classroom.
