The Waltham Museum located at 25 Lexington St. will be closed during the months of January and February. For their March opening they are seeking volunteers to assist in several areas as they continue to promote and preserve Waltham's rich history. Areas of need include:

WPS Awarded Barr Foundation Grant to Support Implementation of Education Plan:
Candlemaker Academy to serve as pilot for Ed Plan to launch in September 2018

Waltham, MA, December 12, 2017 – At their December 5, 2017 Board of Trustees meeting, the Barr Foundation approved a $300,000 grant to Waltham Public Schools.  The grant intends to support the planning and redesign of Waltham High School consistent with the education plan (https://goo.gl/Merged) for a new Waltham High School.

Waltham, MA— RTN GoodWorks Foundation raised $30,000 in proceeds from its 2017 fundraising Golf Tournament on Monday October 2, 2017 at Oakley Country Club. These funds will help support RTN GoodWorks Foundation’s community projects and financial education efforts.

Beautiful October weather was the backdrop for a day of golf, followed by a program that included prize awards, raffles and a silent auction. As a Titanium Sponsor, RTN Federal Credit Union was the major supporter of this event.
