Metro-Boston Project Outreach is a collaboration of Health and Police Departments of Belmont, Lexington, Newton, Waltham, Watertown and Weston. This collaboration was formed with the efforts of Waltham Health Department's Social Worker / Substance Abuse Counselor Meaghan Ritcey, Assistant Director Michelle Feeley and Waltham Police Sgt. J.P Brooks. Metro-Boston Project Outreach will be hosting a Drop In Recovery Resource Night on Thursday December 7th from 5 PM to 8 PM at Our Lady's Church, 573 Washington Street, Newton. Among the topics to be discussed:
- Not sure where to turn?
- Considering recovery services for yourself or a loved one?
- Questions about what treatment options are available.
The group will host casual conversations with a wide variety of treatment providers and support agencies. Refreshments and door prizes will be included at this free event.
