Event Description:

Inspired by the Peabody Award-winning program, "The Moth Radio Hour",  VOICES is an off-beat Off-Kendrik production that presents stories emerging from the South Asian immigrant community.

Ten guest speakers will talk about intimate events that have changed their perspective towards life. These are wide-ranging tales of social bloopers, emotional scars, cultural isolation & verbal blunders. Presented through a multilingual format (Bangla and English), the "VOICES" initiative facilitates both the narrator, who breathes fire into true tales of mundane life, and the  amateur storyteller who has lived through something unique and desires to share it with a larger audience. English live caption will be provided for stories narrated in Bengali.
