Speaker: Lisa Hogarty, Sr. Vice President, Real Estate Planning and Development, Boston Children’s Hospital
As Senior Vice President of Real Estate Planning and Development at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH), Lisa Hogarty is responsible for the planning, design and construction of BCH’s $3B, 10-year capital program, which includes development and construction of the new Boston Children’s state-of-the-art clinical building.
Previously, Ms. Hogarty held similar positions at Harvard University and Dartmouth College. While at Harvard, she was instrumental in the planning of the new Allston campus and reshaping Harvard’s vast real estate portfolio. Ms. Hogarty also spent eight years at Columbia University in several senior leadership roles; the last as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Columbia University Medical Center.
Before her tenure at those Ivy League institutions, Ms. Hogarty worked in several large hospital systems in New York City, including Mount Sinai Medical Center, and managed a complex set of departments in multiple locations. Early in her career, she worked for Four Seasons Hotel Company, where she opened the company’s first off-shore resort on the island of Maui in Hawaii, and went on to work at the Four Seasons-managed Pierre Hotel in New York
Ms. Hogarty holds a Master of Science degree from New York University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Colby-Sawyer College.
