Since 1991! More than three dozen vendors sell their goods at the Waltham Farmers’ Market, bringing plants, Massachusetts-grown fruits and vegetables, organic and specialty produce, herbs, cheese, eggs, maple syrup products, beef, pork, chicken, fish, coffee, sauces, baked goods, pasta, gluten-free baked goods, take-out lunch, juice, halvah, dog treats, jewelry, bags and handcrafts.
NEW this year: milk, ice cream, yogurt, poultry, floral arrangements, a new pierogi purveyor, and hand-made chocolates.
The market also hosts a free concert series featuring a variety of musical styles. Concert funding generously provided by: Waltham Cultural Commission and Downtown Waltham Partnership.
The market is held at School and Lexington Streets, in the Government Center lot at 119 School Street in Waltham. Parking is available behind the building off Lexington Street and at the Central Square Parking Deck, accessible by both Lexington and Common Streets. The market has bicycle and pedestrian access from both School and Lexington Streets.
Cash, SNAP (including HIP), debit, and credit cards are accepted. SNAP purchases up to $10 per person per week will be matched, with support from the Jones Partnership Fund, First Parish in Waltham, Watertown Savings Bank, Brasco Funeral Home, and First Lutheran Church of Waltham.
The market is held rain or shine and is wheelchair-, bicycle- and stroller-accessible. Leashed pets are welcome. The weekly market season runs from June 9 – November 3, 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM.
