Visit art where it’s made at the 41st Waltham Mills Open Studios on November 4th & 5th.
More than 80 artists open their doors to celebrate the 41st Waltham Mills Open Studios during the weekend of November 5 and 6. Visitors to this free event will meet artists, tour studios, and browse and purchase original artwork both days from 12 pm to 6 pm. Featuring artists from the Waltham Mills Artists Association (WMAA), Lincoln Studios, and Metalwerx, this event will showcase nationally recognized artists as well as accomplished and emerging artists working in an array of media and styles; from painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture to jewelry, textiles, glass, photography, woodworking, film and more.
WMAA occupies two adjacent buildings at 144 Moody Street. Lincoln Studios, a collaborating artist community, will host visitors just a short walk away at 289 Moody Street. Artists from Metalwerx, the Waltham-based, non-profit school and community studio for jewelry-making and metal art will be on the first floor of Lincoln Studios (289 Moody St.). Members from the Waltham Philharmonic Orchestra Quartet will perform both days at 144 Moody Street.
We are also pleased to welcome New England School of Photography to Waltham and invite you to visit them at 274 Moody Street during Open Studios. You are also invited to the grand opening of The Telephone Museum on the first floor of 289 Moody Street.
