Event Description: 

The New England First Amendment Coalition has gathered a panel of experts to speak about this timely and important topic. Freedom of speech and freedom of the press are of great concern to all of us at this time and the experts will help us to make sense of what is happening.

Speakers include:

Maria ManningMaria Manning 
An experienced finance and operational executive, Manning is a trustee of the ACLU Foundation of Massachusetts and serves as its treasurer. She has served on the foundation’s Board of Directors for nine years and regularly speaks about civil liberties and the law.

Maggie MulvihillMaggie Mulvihill 
Mulvihill is a professor at Boston University’s College of Communication where she teaches data journalism. A member of NEFAC’s Board of Directors, Mulvihill co-founded the New England Center for Investigative Reporting.
