This years event, some of the proceeds will benefiting Cancer Research. I am running the Boston Marathon in memory of Joseph Basile (my dad) who passed away from a Glioblastoma brain tumor in 2005. Prizes to top male/female finishers plus various age categories. Runners and walkers welcome, and for safety purposes, no skateboards, roller blades/skates, bicycles, or animals can be taken on the course. Chip timing provided by RaceWire. The Mission
This years mission for the JB Blastoff 5k Run/Walk is to benefit cancer research and raise funds to fight all types of cancer. I will be running the Boston Marathon this year in memory of Joseph Basile (my dad), family and friends who have passed, battled and won or are now fighting cancer. I am honored to be running and to be able to raise money for such a great cause. Please spread the word.
